About the Journal

The National Open Journal of Medicine (NOJM) is a multidisciplinary open peer-reviewed journal focusing on impactful clinical and foundation medical research. NOJM publishes original articles, reviews, protocols, clinical cases, and commentary.  

Vision

Our vision is the realization of a free exchange of medical and academic knowledge and high-quality scientific research. To this end, NOJM is free to both authors and readers. NOJM does not have subscription fees for readers and no article processing charges (APC) for authors. Authors maintain copyright to works, however, we required they adopt the Creative Commons license for their work to be published in NOJM.

Open Access Policy

The National Open Journal of Medicine is not a for-profit publisher. NOJM is supported by the community. If you would like to help us keep the lights on, consider making a one-time donation or becoming a sponsor. 

All published articles are immediately available online without charge in perpetuity. Authors will not be charged an APC to publish their work.

Copyright Ownership

Authors retain full copyright ownership of their work. Works are published under the Creative Common license (CC). You will NOT be asked to transfer copyright ownership to NOJM.
